Preparation |
We trim and wash Arikonch leaves.
Apply a thick paste of Black Gram flour ( Urad Dal Besan ) over the leaves to stick one above another.
Roll and cut into slices.
Dry them to ensure that you get well dried ones on both the sides so that the shelf life is longer.
Cooking Usage |
Arikonch curry is famaous in Mithila.
Recipe : Arikonch Curry |
Steam or boil marinated dried Arikonch for 15-20 minutes.
Deeply fry the slices.
Fry mixture of spices with yellow mustard paste.
Pour water to make curry texture.
Put Arikonch slices and boil.
Lastly mix lemon juice and serve.
